Graphics Playout / Data-Driven Workflow
Project Overview
Studio Hub is a web-based playout system for Unreal Engine graphics, built to simplify how real-time content is prepared, organized and taken to air.
Operators can create playlists, trigger graphics and control Unreal Engine directly from a browser-based interface. The system is also connected to external data sources, allowing graphics to be populated dynamically with live or prepared data.
My Role
I designed and developed Studio Hub in Visual Studio Code, using AI-assisted development as part of the workflow for prototyping, coding and problem solving.
The system was built as a modular web-based playout layer for Unreal Engine, with playlist control, data-driven graphics and integration through Unreal Engine Remote Control Presets.
New graphics packages and functionality can be added through Unreal Engine Remote Control Presets, which makes the system modular and easy to expand without rebuilding the core application
Key Features
- Web-based playout for Unreal Engine graphics
- Playlist creation and rundown-style control
- Remote triggering and control of Unreal content
- Data-driven graphics connected to external data sources
- Modular integration through Unreal Remote Control Presets
- Easy to extend with new graphics modules and projects
Result
A modular, data-driven playout platform that makes complex Unreal Engine graphics easier to operate, manage and expand.
